SKNTVET CULMINATES SUCCESSFUL ASSESSMENT TRAINING

Basseterre: St. Kitts, Monday, October 27, 2025: St. Kitts and Nevis Technical and Vocational Education and Training (SKNTVET) celebrated the successful completion of its Assessment and Assessment Verification (Internal/External) Training on Friday, July 25.

The sessions aimed at equipping participants with knowledge and skills to effectively conduct assessments and ensure that certification processes meet national and international standards.

Mr. Roger Woodley, Deputy Chief Education Officer, Ministry of Education, praised participants for their hard work and underscored the importance of continued growth and professional development within the education sector.

“Today marks the close of an intensive and transformative journey, that is the CVQ Level IV workshop in Assessment and Verification, which has demonstrated our commitment, resilience, and passion for excellence. Participants, you have now been trained, and at this point, you have skills that you could impart to our system. This achievement represents a significant investment in the future of our workforce and society. It is more than the end of a workshop. It is the beginning of a movement towards quality, equity, and excellence in TVET across St. Kitts and Nevis and throughout the wider Caribbean.”

Mr. Woodley also extended appreciation to the facilitators, acknowledging their invaluable support and long-standing collaboration in enhancing the quality and impact of technical and vocational education across the federation.

“I take a moment to express gratitude to our facilitators. Thank you for your dedication, expertise, and years of partnership in St. Kitts and Nevis. Your contribution has strengthened our capacity, and your professionalism has left a lasting mark on the progress of TVET in our federation.”

Participants were recognized for their individual achievements, and the Ministry of Education’s dedication to strengthening Technical and Vocational Education and Training in St. Kitts and Nevis was reinforced.
